WRITTEN PRODUCTIONS 

Students were told to write a story... they were given the beginning of the story and let their imagination flow...

Here is a sample of the stories from the 8th grade class B

Some of them are very imaginative...

It was a hot day in the middle of July, so I decided to go to the beach. When I got there, I saw a doplhin trapped in the shallow water. I didn´t know what to do, so, I immediately ran to help the poor dolphin that was suffering a lot. I grabbed my pocket knife, I did some cuts on the net to set the dolphin free, but I noticed it had fainted and was very injured.

I called an ambulance and a local vet to help me and when they arrived they were very shocked to see it was a real dolplhin, they must have thought it was a joke or something.

Of course, by this time, people were getting curious with the situation and wanted to get closer. The lifeguards had to put them away.

The lifeguards called a specialised vet and the dolphin was carried to the vet hospital. Some hours went by and when I called the Hospital, I was told the dolphin was ok and that it was going to be set free because it was completely fine. The vet thanked me and congratulated me for having done such a good deed.

It was a hot day in the middle of July, so I decided to go to the beach. When I got there, I saw a doplhin trapped in the shallow water. I didn't know what to do, so I looked for help. Surprisingly, there were people that could help, one was even a marine biologist!

As we couldn't do it alone, one of us called the animal control and they came as fast as they could to save the dolphin. When they came, the dolphin was almost dying but fortunately we were able to save him and return him back to the sea where he beleonged.

I didn't know why this happened, it could have just been bad luck or it could have been the irregularities of the sea due to global warming.

I guess I'll never know, but I hope that dolphin is doing ok now!
